💡A New Perspective:

As we grow older, we mature in different ways; however, we cannot automatically assume that a sin or weakness will die on its own without repentance and sincerely seeking God. Growing older and walking the same path quite possibly only causes the path to become more familiar, more comfortable, and harder to make a change. Stepping off the path onto new territory can lead us to oceans of beauty and victory in Jesus…but we must choose to make the turn…the change in paths….with God’s help…through His strength alone (not our own), we can overcome.

💭💭💭Thought to ponder…If we struggled with a sin or weakness at age 10 or 16, we can still be struggling with it at age 70 if we don’t confess and turn away from it.

💡PerSPecTiVe: It’s not about growing older.
It’s about going deeper.

Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin(s). I am weak in this area and cannot do it without you. Help me to overcome and to never give up. You alone are my strength. Thank you for your forgiveness and your help.
