Celebrate Good Decisions!

This month marks my 5-year anniversary to consistent exercise!
I have exercised on and off for years, but made a conscious decision to try (with God’s help!) to be more consistent (with mostly only planned breaks for certain purposes) five years ago this month! I praise God for His help(!!)…and pray that He enables and allows me the privilege to continue.

I was at the heaviest weight in my life, and while I could list factors involved leading up to that, the fact of the matter is that I was there. When I started doing Zumba, I thought I just might be shaking my insides loose!!  I had aches, pains, and injuries from a variety of exercises! I told my mom if I stopped every time it hurt, I’d never exercise!

This month, I am 19+ pounds below my heaviest weight.  I am not as low as I have been nor as low as I want to be, but Praise God, I am not where I was five years ago!

Prayers appreciated that I will continue this journey! And, if you are on the same journey, may I encourage you to stay steady…good decisions build on good decisions…and….progress is progress no matter how small!

I encourage the same for you in your Christian walk…no matter where you are today, with God’s help, stay steady…good decisions build on good decisions…and…progress is progress no matter how small!

“No dear brothers and sister, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing:  Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Philippians 3:13,14
