Folks who know me well, know that I love the cold weather, and especially the snow, about as much as I love the beach in the summer time! As I was out for a bit with my husband last weekend enjoying the cold and a few flurries, I noticed these perfect snowflakes on my scarf. My husband thought I was a little nuts when he saw me trying to take pictures…until later when he looked at my photos.
The old saying, “Stop and smell the roses” could be translated into, “Take time to notice the snowflakes.”
I love the simple pleasures that God allows me to enjoy on a daily basis. Sometimes, it’s in the little things that we hear His voice or see His power.
When I found these verses in the Bible, I thought, “How perfect”…
“He directs the snow to fall on the earth and tells the rain to pour down. Then everyone stops working so they can watch his power. (Job 37:6-7 NLT)
